We awoke to a beautiful gorgeous day in beautiful Costa Rica.
We served the Lord today working on Case de Mission. The mission team took on various tasks to improve the Mission House which included pulling weeds, moving rocks, clearing a pathway, cleaning water bars, raking leaves, clearing flower beds, picking up trash, plumbing work, cutting overgrowth and washing the dog!! We had very pleasant weather to work in with a little rain to make enough mud for the kids to play in!!
We miss you Ben!!

Thanks for the sweet message to Ben, guys! You know me, I got weepy when I saw it. You all will be glad to know that Ben and I have mission plans of our own this week. I'll let Ben share those plans with you in his comment. I told Julie tonight that we feel like we are right there because we know what you are doing in all those pictures! Ben is doing much better and healing nicely. We are praying everyday for you all!

Wassup? Ben here. The posters were awesome!! I am praying for you every single day. I am doing a lot better, but I'm tired of the yucky medicine and taking a bath twice a day. My mom and I are planning to do mission work here this week. We are going to make birthday bags for the food pantry, take the elderly from Morning Side to Monte Sano and have coffee and doughnuts with them, clean up the supply closet & puppet stuff at church, pick up litter around the church campus, help the homeless that live under the bridges on Thursday night, and serve at the Downtown Rescue Mission on Friday. We'll take pictures of what we do too. Maybe we can do a big slideshow at Kids Church! Hope you have a good trip. I miss all of you too.
