We have come a long way today!! We arrived at the Huntsville airport this morning and were sent off by family and friends and prayer with Julie Durling. We were all very sad that Ben Speed and Sharon could not make the trip with us. Ben had to stay home because of a recent medical condition. Please keep Ben and Sharon in your prayers.
Our first stop was in Houston where we practiced our puppet skits and songs in the airport! Then we made the long flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. We got to see a beautiful sunset from above the clouds. We were greeted in San Jose by David´s Mother Mary and Carlos and Karla. We have arrived safely at the Mission House and have an exciting day planned tomorrow starting with church .

I am so glad to see that everyone arrived safely. Ben is doing better and we learned today that his infection was sensitive to the first antibiotic. That's good news in the sense that he's going to heal, but disappointing that we could have gone after all. We may never understand, but just as the song says, we will praise Him in the storm. If Ben continues to improve, we plan to do some mission work here at home while you all are there. Please do us a favor and all of you write entries in Ben's journal. At least that way, we can look back and read about the work that is being done there. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and we will be praying daily that God's work is done there. We'll be in touch through the blog.

Wassup? Ben here. How is the trip? I just wanted to notify you that I am OK! I cried alllllllllllllll the way home. whaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You are all in my prayers,and I know that God is going to lead you all in mission work there.
